TaiJiJian – Sword

In ancient China, the two-edged straight sword was highly regarded. Besides the practical function (military / self defense / wushu / sport / acrobatic / civil-status / ritual / ceremony / object of art) the sword was a symbol of justice, discipline, inner development, moral integrity, honor and wisdom.

The main objective is to gain a clearer understanding of the taiji forces (taijijin) and bring them out of the body. Basic sword techniques and the sword form are the means to achieve this.

The TaiJiJian sword form is based on the Yang-style sword form. The form is taught in accordance with the insights of the Taiji NanPai principles.
